About Repose Wellness Collective:
Repose is a growing private mental health practice in St. John’s, offering counselling, psychological assessments, and allied health services. With a team of over 25 clinicians across two locations, we are committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals, families, and children in our community.
We are looking for a Child & Family Therapist to join our growing team! We’re seeking a therapist who enjoys working collaboratively with children, youth, and families and who brings warmth, creativity, and an affirming approach to supporting young people through the challenges they may be experiencing.

The Role:
The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support to children and youth aged 4–18, while working collaboratively with parents and caregivers when appropriate. We are particularly interested in someone with experience supporting children and families and an interest in incorporating developmentally appropriate, creative, and play-based approaches into their work.
Location: St. John’s, NL
Position: 8-15 client hours per week; evening and weekend availability
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:

A graduate degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related discipline.

Current registration in good standing with the appropriate professional governing or regulatory body.

Experience providing therapy to children, youth, and/or families, ideally across the 4–18 age range.

Experience working collaboratively with parents and caregivers.

Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

A warm, empathetic, and child-centred approach.

Play therapy training and experience is highly valued or a willingness to pursue ongoing professional development in play-based and family-centered approaches.

An interest in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches.

A commitment to practising in ways that are affirming of diverse identities, cultures, and family structures, and neuroaffirming of autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent children and families.

The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative clinical team.
