What I Can Help With
Sydney Wells B.A. (Hons), MSc. is a Master of Education (M.Ed.) Counselling Psychology graduate at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she previously completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Experimental Psychology. Her research focus has been centered on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
My Approach
Alongside her academic background, Sydney has worked in the community and non-profit sectors. She has supported individuals as a Transition House Counsellor at the Iris Kirby House and as a Family and Natural Support Worker with Choices for Youth. Through these experiences, she developed a strong appreciation for creating spaces where clients feel heard, respected, and supported in leading their own process.
About Me
Sydney is committed to fostering a counselling environment that is empathetic, collaborative, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming. She values the counselling relationship as a connection grounded in trust and respect, where clients can feel safe to bring their whole selves into the room.
