In her work with assessments and intervention, Kiranjot is dedicated to taking a strengths -based approach that supports children and their families in better understanding the challenges they face and empowers them to leverage the child's strengths to help them excel.
Kiranjot is committed to integrating a neurodiversity and culturally affirming lens, as well as adopting an anti-oppressive approach in her work with families.
She values collaborating closely with families, as well as with other professionals involved in the child’s life, to best support the child’s needs.Â
Regarding therapeutic approaches, Kiranjot aims to integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) alongside third-wave CBT modalities (such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), as well as family work and play therapy, to support the child and their family in a way that best fits their unique circumstances.
