Jaclyn Browne

What I Can Help With
Jaclyn’s particular focus and interest has been attuned to understanding and supporting individuals across the lifespan with Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities as well as navigating other mental health needs. She is committed to practicing with a neuro-affirming lens, recognizing and valuing the unique strengths and needs of each individual. In doing so, she acknowledges and respects the diverse profiles of her clients, ensuring that her assessments and interventions are tailored to their specific needs and strengths. Jaclyn integrates her academic background with extensive hands-on experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. Her approach is strength-based, collaborative, and deeply person-centered. She aims to ensure that every client and family leaves the assessment process with a sense of validation, clarity, and empowerment. She is trained in the ADOS-2 (Toddler through Adult) and the MIGDAS-2 and continues to expand her expertise through ongoing professional development in neurodevelopmental assessment, trauma-informed care, and affirming psychological practice.
My Approach
Jaclyn is equipped to combine her academic training alongside her hands-on experience working with individuals across the lifespan which enables her to deliver assessments and supportive interventions with competency and a client-centered approach. Despite her broad academic background and work experience, Jaclyn continues to remain current and active with developments in her field. She actively pursues post-graduate training in various areas related to her assessment practice and her interest in neurodevelopmental work. Jaclyn’s focus lies in understanding neurodiversity and advancing inclusive, affirming practices in assessment and mental health care. She believes that supporting neurodivergent individuals requires ongoing learning, recognizing that presentations are nuanced and often underidentified. This has become both a passion area and a focus of continued research and professional development for her. She values learning directly from the neurodivergent community, knowing that listening to Autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD voices is essential to doing this work ethically and meaningfully.
