Amanda supports individuals who struggle with a variety of issues, including, but not limited to, emotional regulation, grief and loss, anxiety, parenting, life transitions, and adolescent issues. She provides both brief, goal-oriented therapy and longer-term support tailored to each person's unique needs.

Amanda is committed to empowering individuals through compassionate therapy and evidence-based interventions. With a trauma-informed lens and a person-centered, strengths-based approach, she strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward healing. Amanda integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
About Me
Amanda is a registered clinical social worker with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Workers and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Memorial University. Amanda has primarily worked with children, adolescents and families for the past 11 years, in a variety of practice settings. Amanda is dedicated to ongoing professional growth, and strives to provide the highest standard of care, helping individuals cultivate self-compassion, emotional balance, and effective coping skills as they navigate life's challenges.
