Do you work with children and youth?
Yes. We have clinicians who specialize in play therapy, parent-child work, youth mental health, and speech-language services. We also offer psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents.
Therapy is like a safe, cozy space just for youth.
We meet one-on-one in a quiet room that feels welcoming and calm, where your child knows it is okay to talk, play, draw, or just sit quietly if that is what feels best. My role is to listen closely and help them figure out their feelings and thoughts, almost like helping untangle a big ball of yarn so it’s easier to hold.
Everyone communicates in different ways , and that’s celebrated.
Some may share through words, but they might also express themselves through drawing, playing games, building with toys, or even just moving around. Therapy makes space for all of those ways, because feelings can be easier to explore when they are allowed to show them instead of just talking about them.
It’s a place where feelings are understood, not judged.
Many times, youth feel nervous or unsure about therapy at first. I reassure them that there are no “bad” feelings in this room, whether they feel mad, sad, worried, or silly, we can talk about it. That can help them feel more confident and understood over time.
Caregivers can be part of the team too.
While sessions are private for youth, parents are also supported by sharing helpful tools and strategies at home, so everyone feels connected and supported. It’s about building a bridge between what happens in therapy and everyday life.
The goal is growth and ease, not perfection.
The goal is to leave therapy feeling lighter and more capable, with new ways to handle big emotions or tricky situations. It’s less about “fixing” and more about helping them feel proud of who they are while learning skills they can carry forward.
Therapy is your own safe space.
When we meet, you have a space that belongs just to you, somewhere cozy and calm where you can share whatever you’re thinking or feeling. You can talk, draw, sit quietly, or even just take a deep breath. There is no wrong way to be here.
You get to share in the way that feels right for you.
Some people like to talk things out. Others like to write, draw, or use activities to show what’s on their mind. However you express yourself is welcome. Therapy is about finding what works for you.
Every feeling is welcome here.
Whether you’re feeling nervous, sad, worried, mad, or even a mix of everything, this is a place where all feelings are okay. We can figure them out together, one step at a time.
It’s about teamwork, not fixing.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, because you’re not broken. It’s about learning ways to handle hard moments, discovering strengths you already have, and building tools so life feels a little lighter and more manageable.
Support doesn’t stop at the session.
While our time together is private and yours, we can also find ways for the people in your life, like family or close friends, to support you, so you feel cared for outside this space too.
The goal is growth, not perfection.
Therapy helps you feel more confident, calm, and proud of who you are becoming. It’s about moving forward in a way that feels right for you, step by step.
