Yes - we take your privacy very seriously. Your personal information is kept confidential in accordance with Canadian privacy laws and professional ethical standards.
There are a few exceptions to confidentiality, which include:
• If you provide written consent for us to share information with another person or service
• If there is a concern about your immediate safety or the safety of others
• If we are legally obligated to report certain situations
Your clinician will review confidentiality with you during your first session and continue to check in about it throughout your care. You are always welcome to ask questions or revisit these boundaries at any time.
Our services are not designed for emergency or crisis support. If you're in crisis or need urgent help, please contact:
